Hello to all in the Fisker forum- I can't say that I will get one of the first Karmas to roll off the line, but I believe in what this company is trying to accompolish.

Thumbs up f104plt

Just arrived at this site. Good to see there are others willing to put some $$$ out to get on a list for an unknown delivery date. My number is 14 hundred and something (51 I think). All I have received is an email acknowledging receipt of my $5000 and a delivery number. Lately an info email has been arriving. Two so far. Pretty slim for customers hungering for meat and potatos information.

Glad to see some tech material on this website.

On the plus side, its a beautiful design, and I can't wait to see a real one as opposed to pictures.

My real name is Samir. I somehow found the site when researching the Karma since it was coming to town, and I wanted to know as much about it as I could before seeing it in person.

I own and operate a local car enthusiast web site in our city, and am generally a car nut, lol.

Check out my review on the Karma, posted both here and on my site.

Lee-
No internet access for a month? How can you survive?
I penned a note on my wait for #80 over here if you are interested:
Fisker Karma - Page 45 - Tesla Motors Club Forum

I forgot to mention that for a minority of us who are waiting for the 1st 100, we will all monolithically be getting the same exterior color! A unique car with an un-unique styling cue! Ugh!

Aloha! I found my way to this forum through the 'electric-cars-are-for-girls.com' site. The review of the Karma was enthusiastic to say the least. A driving machine like this was long overdue. Can't wait to get into her and take her out for a ride on 'Saddleroad'!

Question Am I the only one?

I understand that it takes a lot of engineering and very hard work to build a new vehicle. Actually I don't understand because it must be very difficult. However, am I the only one that feels that the amount of information getting to us is lacking? I already have a deposit on my Fisker (roughly 2 years ago). Hoping to hear much more about actual ordering and delivery soon. This car is amazing in its design and technology, we're excited about eventual delivery. Depositors need to be kept in the loop as much as possible. Going to the coachbuild site, fisker site, etc doesn't tell you much.

& now comes the invite for the final road show stop back in LA in Santa Monica. It reads, "blah, blah, blah, blah... you will get a second chance to touch and feel this incredible vehicle."

Further validation about my post above that maybe I should lower my expectations about the Karma! I drove in the Tesla Model 'S' over a year ago and didn't even have a deposit! And the road to building the Tesla Roadster & Tesla's constantly involving their public as comparison... don't get me started!

"Touch & feel?" Fugedaboudit!
